Organic Social Marriott Bonvoy
Covid brought travel to a screeching halt. So when I started working with Marriott International’s internal agency (Riott Haus Creative) in December 2020, it was an interesting time to make my first foray into the hospitality space. And I was totally up for the challenge.
As part of a creative team of 3, we were tasked with developing always-on content that engaged consumers on Marriott Bonvoy’s social channels and prompted them to book future travel amid ever-changing travel restrictions. The solution: Sparking wanderlust by virtually transporting folks to Marriott’s portfolio of 30 hotels around the globe.
Through a monthly social content series that combined thoughtful storytelling with eye-catching visuals, we encouraged Marriott Bonvoy followers to dream about travel while engaging with the brand on several social platforms—including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. As part of a larger multi-channel strategy, each content series drove to a Marriott Bonvoy Traveler article and was supported by an email.
